Compliance and warranty
All Kestrel meters sold in New Zealand should carry the RCM (Regulatory Compliance Mark), the same as in Australia. The RCM replaced the older C-Tick. Kestrel AU cannot support warranty claims on meters without this mark.
Buying from us
We encourage you to buy from your local dealer, but you're also welcome to order directly from this website. Prices are shown in NZD.
As an export customer, you don't pay Australian GST. Email or call us and we'll give you a discount code that removes the AU GST component from the listed price. The code is for NZ customers only.
Shipping
Shipping to New Zealand is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order.
Duty and GST on arrival in New Zealand
Nothing extra is added at checkout for NZ GST.
- Orders of NZ$1,000 or less: You have nothing to pay NZ Customs. Your order is delivered with no duty, GST or border charges.
- Orders over NZ$1,000: NZ Customs will collect 15% GST, plus any duty that applies and a Customs and MPI goods levy, before your parcel is released. The courier will contact you to arrange payment. You'll also need a Customs Number, which you can apply for through NZ Customs.
